Ballathie is as Unique as Scotland itself…. A big boast, but one we are justifiably very proud of. A privately owned Country House, Ballathie is large enough for privacy and exclusive use, and yet small enough for an intimate gathering of friends and family, perfect for the smaller wedding celebration. Tradition, style and comfort can be found at Ballathie in abundance, which coupled with excellent food and friendly service will ensure your wedding day is a very special landmark.
At Ballathie, our ethos is to give you our undivided attention, and with this in mind we will only ever accept one wedding on any given day, ensuring your celebration at Ballathie is personal and memorable.
You can exchange your vows in our beautiful Drawing Room, and after the ceremony , stroll around the grounds, sipping Champagne, or enjoy laughter and fine conversation with your guests around a roaring log fire.
A choice of two smaller private rooms are ideal for the smaller, intimate wedding breakfast or enjoy the grandeur of our Restaurant for larger numbers.
The Morning Room is a charming traditional room with a large bay window overlooking the Victorian Gardens, which can seat 18 guests comfortably.
The Terrace Room is a bright, light room, with opening patio doors that lead to the front lawns, overlooking the River Tay. It can seat up to 36 guests.
The Restaurant, also over looks the manicured lawns and the River, with a full glass frontage to make the very best of the sunlight and the fabulous views. We can seat up 65 guests with ease.
Evening Entertainment is only permissible at Ballathie if all 25 bedrooms in the main house are reserved for the wedding party and guests. Please refer to the Exclusive use section of our website
We do not charge a room hire for using the Morning Room, Terrace or the Restaurant, for the purpose of your wedding breakfast, however, we do make a £300 hire charge to use the Drawing Room for your ceremony.
